Brooklyn Loves You

                                        it's easy to get lost
                                        even though the streets are
laid out like a grid, 'cause
there's still you you gotta find
it's the little slice of lemon        and maybe you're between the lines
that you fold up and slip             or thirty stories up, 'cause
into your beer, makes it              no one here is really on the ground.
  that much sweeter.
it's all about the lines,        my guess is that
and breaking 'em.                if you move fast enough
                                   or climb high enough
adds a little bit of    maybe you'll run into
color to the grey       yourself along the way
ash trash pigeon        but there's no use in looking
life, and red's         too hard 'cause eventually
just as nice as         it'll come along
           blue, anyway.
now's as good as any time
according to the laws of                'cause the good die young
physics, nobody's                       but the bad die whenever
pants really fit them.                  they damn well please
why try? what do i
get out of it?

           what's love?
           love is love.

it's a rough world but don't let it wear ya down
you find something you love and you learn to
hold on to it but when you go, you go.
                          ...don't go.

This should be formatted, but it's hard to tell how. This is a stab at cleaning it up.
